This special building was a former church named ‘De Zaaier’ and was renovated into an office space for Scotch & Soda.

Renovating and repurposing a church is not necessarily the easiest thing to do. Reimaging an infrastructure that was originally intended for worship not for the free roaming of visitors, that is replete with relics, and which has been unshaken for centuries, is complex. This project pushed us and challenged us, for the first time we had to build floor levels in such an infrastructure as well as an entire free- standing steel structure inside the building.
